We are excited to welcome you to Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Your journey in the trust will start with a corporate induction. This session will introduce you to our values, goals, and how you fit into our team. You'll receive a face to face or Microsoft Teams invitation for the induction on the Thursday before your induction date.

  • Prior training will be accepted from all other NHS organisations in England, including all Provider Trusts, ICBs, CICs, CSUs, and most national bodies.
    • This does not include prior training from GP practices, local authorities, or private companies delivering NHS services.
  • Prior training will be accepted if:
    • It is transferred via ESR from your previous employer.
    • You provide a valid certificate of competence or completed training (CCCT) that we can verify with your previous employer.
  • Please send your certificates of evidence to: fhft.learningandod@nhs.net
  • Training will only be accepted if it falls within the nationally approved timeframes.

As part of the induction, you will complete our Frimley Excellence White Belt training to introduce to you the improvement methodology used within the trust.
The following Mandatory and Statutory Training (MaST) sessions will also be included.

  • Speaking Up
  • Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
  • Safeguarding Adults Level 1
  • Safeguarding Children Level 1
  • Fire Safety

You must scan the QR code provided in each session of the induction to register your attendance. If you do not do this, your attendance will not be recorded, and you will need to complete the training again on your Electronic Staff Record (ESR).
If you have previously completed any of the above training and you have evidence to support this, you will not be required to attend these modules.

You will receive a local induction during your first day on site. During this, your line manager will provide you with your login details and NHS email address.

You will be emailed information about accessing ESR, where you will be able to access your personal information, payslips and complete your Mandatory and Statutory Training (MaST)

If you have any difficulties in accessing ESR, please contact fhft.esrsupport@nhs.net

Your MaST will need to be completed within two weeks of attending Virtual Corporate Induction. Please speak to your line manager to schedule time to complete this during your working hours.

  • Bank nurses, mental health nurses, care assistants, and mental health care assistants:
  • Bank locum doctors:
  • Non-clinical bank staff:
    • Your line manager / hiring manager will provide your NHS email login after corporate induction.
    • If you do not know your line manager, please contact fhft.tscompliance@nhs.net

Any training not transferred or completed as part of your corporate induction, will need to be completed on ESR.

The system will take you to the online training modules for you to complete and will update your record immediately upon completion. To ensure accurate recording of your training please check the following:

  • The progress bar is fully complete.
  • Click the ‘Close’ icon at the top right of the page to exit correctly. This is illustrated by a blue house.
  • Read the questions carefully particularly where multiple answers are required.
