All new employees are invited to attend Corporate Induction on their first day of employment. This session welcomes new starters to the Trust and provides important information to support them in their roles.

Corporate induction is held in person and takes place every Monday (except in months with five Mondays), from 10am to 4.30pm. Where induction falls on a bank holiday Monday, induction will take place the following Tuesday.

Each month, corporate induction is delivered across the Trust’s three main sites in the following locations:

  • Frimley Park Hospital – Boardroom
  • Wexham Park Hospital – Lecture Room, Old School of Nursing
  • Heatherwood Hospital – LG3, Greenwood Offices

The recruitment team will book new starters onto a corporate induction session at one of the above sites. New starters will receive full details about the day, including parking arrangements, during the week prior to their start date.

The session includes:

  • A welcome and introduction to the Trust from an Executive Director
  • Information about education and development opportunities
  • An overview of the Trust’s financial wellbeing and health and wellbeing support

As part of the Trust’s commitment to continuous improvement, all new starters will complete Frimley Excellence White Belt training. This training provides the foundation skills needed to support improvement work within teams.

The following MaST subjects are also included as part of corporate induction:

  • Freedom to Speak Up: Speaking Up
  • Equality, diversity and inclusion
  • Fire safety
  • Safeguarding adults – Level 1
  • Safeguarding children – Level 1

All additional required training must be completed within two weeks of the corporate induction date. This training will be available through ESR once the new starter has received their NHS email address and login details.
